Moof Hat

Before Susan Kare gave us Chicago, Geneva, and those perfect pixelated icons, she gave us something even more delightfully absurd: a creature that was equal parts bovine, equal parts canine, and 100% Peak Classic Mac. The Dogcow—sorry, a legally distinct imaginary cowdog of unknown origin—lived in the Page Setup dialog, making a sound that can only be described as "moof."

This hat is a love letter to that era, rendered in Augusta National green.

The 5-panel construction uses a polyester foam front panel for structure, backed by four panels of 100% cotton twill. It's a mid-crown fit: high enough to look sharp, low enough that you won't look like a freight train conductor.

The gold rope along the brim is pure vintage snapback energy paired with matching gold embroidery up front: "Moof," created by a very expensive typeface designer (why do they charge so much money? it's just like... letters, man). On the side panel, embroidered in tone-on-tone green so subtle you might miss it: a legally distinct imaginary cowdog. If you know, you know.

The sweatband uses our ultra-absorbent, highly-padded 100% nylon. It won't discolor from sweat and stays comfortable through 18 holes or 18 hours of Xcode.
