When a certain small, light gray square of fabric was introduced in 2021, it set a new benchmark for premium, lint-free polishing. It also inspired a few questions: what if a cloth was designed not just for perfect, effortless glide, but with a specific chemical affinity for stubborn oils? Why $20 for such a small size? And most importantly, why isn't it… bigger? A lot bigger? Like... even bigger than daddy's hand?
That last question sent us down a rabbit hole of material science. After many prototypes from multiple suppliers, we felt we’d nearly matched the benchmark performance in most areas, but knew we couldn’t replicate the exact glide without millions in specialty equipment. So we focused on what we could innovate: an in-house proprietary triple-blend you won't find anywhere else. By integrating a small, precise percentage of polyamide, we gave the material hydrophilic properties enabling moisture wicking to actively lift fingerprints rather than disperse them.
The most obvious difference, of course, is the size. At a generous 22x22cm, Cloth Pro Max has the heft and surface area to tackle anything from a phone to a desktop display with satisfying efficiency. We even created a custom color—a warm gray perfectly matched to natural titanium—and made sure it was completely colorfast (a rarity on cheaper microfibers). It’s a cloth born from a deep respect for the original, but with its own opinion on how to get the job done.
That philosophy extends all the way to its presentation. Each cloth arrives folded in a custom-designed, recyclable origami package, printed with soy-based inks. It's just a beautiful tool, beautifully presented. And BIG!

While it is a cloth, if you want the best one to get your screens looking like you just took them out of the packaging, all while not needing any type of liquid, then this is the cloth to get. It truly works really well at removing smudges and finger prints with ease. Wish I would have purchased earlier.
This had a way different feel than I was expecting, but it works unbelievably well for cleaning tech (which was the reason I got them). Love it!

Though not verified to work with my Tesla screen, it works amazingly well for it. I also tested on my glasses, but my regular glasses cloth is better for them. Great product made with good materials and care.

I have two of these, and I gave one to my wife. It’s the best cleaning cloth I’ve ever used to clean my MacBook and phone. I also use it for my reading glasses.
Very plush and feels very much like the one Apple sells. Washes well too! If washing do not dry with softener as the wax will stick to it and smear on the screens! Thank you!

This is the best version of a polishing cloth anyone has made. It’s bigger, the triple-blend material actually lifts oils instead of pushing them around, and the origami packaging shows real attention to the small things that matter.
Too thick for any practical use. Wouldn't use it on glasses because it scratches. Wouldn't use it on any screen because a microfiber towel is better.

Bought this primarily for glasses (which are included in the comparability list) but found that the stiffness of the cloth prevented a good cleaning. Maybe it’s a skill issue? 5 stars if this was just for screens, but it struggles with glasses.

I ordered 3 Cloth Max Pro after a recommendation from a podcast host I trust. They appear identical to the Apple cloths in terms of quality, but are larger, and I how have one in each bag I use to carry my MacBook Pro. My only gripe is the choice of UPS for international delivery and any review I would leave about UPS would be expletive-laden.
The cloth is really good, I have an iPad which I use to watch videos and this cloth is excellent at removing greasy finger prints. I can now watch the videos with no greasy fingerprint artefacts.
Smudge Game
Move the cloth over a smudge to lift it. Ten points a smudge, times your level; the greasy ones take two passes. Ten smudges on screen at once and the screen is a lost cause.
Sixty seconds. One cloth.
